Welcome to the Dr. Ashlin Paz Clinical Rotation
Dr. Ashlin Paz was the first medical student to do a clinical rotation at my office. She contacted me with a request to do the rotation, and after the usual paperwork requirements, was soon doing one of her required rotations with us at Truman Medical Center. Dr. Paz was such a pleasure to teach, to work with, and to get to know, for all of my staff. She was a fine example of a well-educated, competent, knowledgeable, and motivated medical student and I have no doubt that she will make a fine physician, excelling in her field and being admired and respected by her fortunate patient's for many years to come. For her adventurous spirit and compassionate dedication to her chosen life's work, and to show our appreciation for the opportunity to get to work with her and be a part of her clinical training, I have decided to name the rotation after her. Since Dr. Paz has completed her rotation and gone off to begin her first year of residency, interest in the clinical rotation has expanded rapidly. We now we have affiliation agreements with medical schools at Des Moines University, University of Miami, NOVA Southeastern University, University of Florida, Florida International University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and more and more programs joining daily.
If you are a medical student, a physician's assistant student, or a nurse practitioner student and would like to participate in the clinical rotation here in our clinic in Key West, please check with your clinical affairs coordinator to see if your school is one of the many now offering rotations with us. If your school does not yet have an affiliation with Truman Medical Center please feel free to contact my staff and notify your clinical affairs coordinator so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you and your classmates to participate in the Dr. Ashlin Paz clinical rotation. We can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 305-296-4399. See the calendar below for openings in the schedule.
